I have an idea for a movie...
(bear with me here)
*in booming movie announcer voice*
First there was Cold Mountain-- a tale of longing and love between a Confederate soldier and the love he left behind.
Then there was Brokeback Mountain-- a gripping tale of a forbidden love shared by 2 gay cowboys.
Neither of them will compare to
COLD BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
The sad and gripping tale of the secret love shared by a Union solider and his Confederate counterpart.

You know, given the almost complete dearth of creativity in Hollywood studios these days, you might just have a winner there. Better copyright it quick so you can sue someone! :)
ink: Thanks, you may be right!
I love it! Maybe you could make it a musical to boot.
Throw it in the deep south and you could have Cold Brokeback Deliverance.
Copyright ti straight away mate! Smart one :)
Keshi.
Ewwwww, I wouldn't want to see that!
Dirty b*****ds didn't "trim their shrubbery" back then! And the soldiers were dirty.
Wait a minute - wasn't Jude Law in Cold Mountain? I've changed my mind! Great idea!
Phoenix: I could film it in India to save on costs and make it a Bollywood musical to boot!
Fuzz: And if it's a Bollywood musical it would be interesting to hear the Indian actors playing American Civil War soldiers and one of them attempting a Southern Drawl... This film is getting better by the second.
keshi: You're right I should! Especially if it's made into a Bollywood musical.
St. Dickeybird: But do you think it would work as a Bollywood musical?
OMG, there you go again! I'm beginning to feel a little sorry for your wife. Then again, you probably keep her laughing!
With my wife I tend to amuse her more with physical humor (dancing, silly walks, exaggerated tripping and falling, oh and... "spirit fingers").
This movie concept gives new meaning to the terms "hardtack" and "rebel yell."
Susan: And just think of the kind of meaning it gives to "Billy Yank."
lol @Bollywood musical...hahaha I can see ppl dancing too much and hiding behind trees :):)
Keshi.
