Just to re-lighten the overall tone of my blog...
So awhile back I signed up to take these occassional online surveys (usually about 3-5 week). And in return I get "credit" that accumulates and I can trade in for things like frequent flier miles, gift cards for certain retailers, free rentals from Blockbuster, etc. etc.
Well anyway, today I took a survey on sleep aid medication. And one of the first questions that was asked was what brand names of sleep aids come to mind. And I meant to, I mean I REALLY meant to type "Lunesta" but instead for some reason I was thinking of a certain other perscription drug ad for something MUCH different than sleeping disorders and ended up typing in "Levitra."
Whoops! Well hopefully whomever is tallying up the results of the survey will get a chuckle out of that. Would that be considered a Freudian slip?

LOL!!!! Hey I was signed up for some of those too, Zoom Panel and .... antoher one. I did it for a long time but got kind of tired of it after awhile. I never did collect any of my "gifts" thanks for reminding me I need to do that!!
Barbara: I've collected 12 free rentals for Blockbuster (6 for 2005 and 6 for 2006, with the Blockbuster reward you can only collect it once per Calendar year) and 500 Frequent Flier miles on American Airlines. If I get up to $100 I can trade it in for 2000 Frequent Flier miles on American! I'm trying to accumulate enough FF miles on American for Toni & I to fly to England on the cheap.
Well after the effects wore off and a conclusion to the drugs purpose, It might make you sleepy and work as a sleep aid.
Pardon my ignorance but I know neither of these drugs :(

Hahaha, I have to check these survey things out.
fuzz: But I'm wondering whether or not there's a low risk of sexual side effects.
Keshi: Lunesta is a perscription sleeping drug and Levitra is a perscription to control herpes outbreaks. Confusing the two is generally not a good thing.
jeff: The survey itself wasn't all that amusing just my brief confusion as a result of the survey.
Well, at least you didn't go way off the deep end and say it was Cialis. The survey reader would have had even more pity for you then... :)
PS--- Have you ever noticed how the name of most modern drugs sounds like the name of a Greek god or goddess? Levitra and Lunesta are both female...
Susan: Actually no I hadn't noticed that, excellent observation!
I've heard they've been working on a male birth control pill. I hope if they go the Greek or Roman route they use a more masculine sounding name:
Zeustro or maybe Jupitren
