Some interesting questions have been posed on some of the blogs I read:
If so many people on dating sites list "long walks on the beach" as an interest why aren't the beaches of the world far more crowded?
How do blind people clean up the messes of their seeing eye dogs? For that matter how do they know when to stop wiping when using the restroom? scented toilet paper, perhaps?
Inquiring minds want to know...

That question - the second one - gets filed under "Questions I Never Thought Of Asking".
What I like to know is, how does a blind person tell the difference between a five dollar bill and a ten dollar bill.
That would imply that some people stretch the truth on such sites. Shocking.
LceeL: Me either until I saw it discussed on another blog that I read. There wasn't really a satisfying answer on that blog so I thought I'd pose the same question here and see what my readers might come up with.
drew: That's a good one too! I believe it's a sense of touch thing. When you lose one sense, the human body in it's wonderful complexity heightens your remaining senses to compensate. A sighted person doesn't have a sensitive enough sense of touch to "feel" the difference between a fiver or a ten, but a blind person might just.
dantallion: Great to see you back! And people lie about themselves on dating sites?!?! Surely you jest. ;-)
