Celebrity Crushes
Awhile back I mentioned a couple of my celebrity crushes. Some of you weren't familiar with the names... so here are some pictures of a couple of my favorite celebrity crushes:

Nice looking women for sure. I've always enjoyed Marcia Cross in TV movies on Lifetime and guest spots on TV shows but don't watch the tube much these days.
I have a post about my favorite celebrity crush, pics and all, in my drafts, but I am afraid I will lose readers if I post it. Sigh. We can't help who we have a crush on, can we?

Barbara: I only posted it because the subject came up in a previous post. I wanted to put some faces to names for those who were unfamiliar with these 2 lasses.
Phoenix: Thank you for the compliment. They are quite beautiful lasses. Evangeline Lilly (also on Lost) is also quite a looker.
Mmmmm...Evangeline Lilly; she's quite a handsome lass. The first time I saw Emilie de Ravin was when she played that weird character with the backward feet on "Beastmaster". Then she had a recurring role on "Roswell" and I saw just how attractive she is. Never been a fan of Marcia Cross', though. Now, give me Teri Hatcher any day....

Bruce: With Emilie it's those eyes and of course the accent. And A LOT of it is the accent, if she were an American I don't think she'd appeal to me near as much. As for Teri Hatcher. She doesn't do much for me. My 2nd choice on Desperate Housewives would be Eva Longoria.

For me, Marcia Cross will always be Kimberley on Melrose Place. Another gorgeous and psychotic role.
Marcia Cross really is hot - I'd switch teams for her any day. It's nice to know that it's not just gay men that like their women with plenty of 'bitch'.
Crazy Dan: As I've said before-- fire on top, fire down below. It's not the psychotic nature so much as the red hair, although it does make for a rather volatile and exciting combination.
Snooze: I never watched Melrose Place but now you've got me interested in going back and hunting down reruns with the Kimberley character.
Dantallion: It's more the red hair than the bitchiness, but she often plays dangerously psychotic roles or at least mentally unhinged ones and there's something "exciting" about that I s'pose. I find it amusing that I've now seen 2 gay men posting they'd switch teams for Marcia Cross. Now THAT says a lot about a woman's sex appeal.

So, bitchiness is key, for some, eh? Guess I'd better work on that!
Green Eyes: I think bitchiness is only key if you're trying to turn gay men straight. While some straight guys dig bitchiness, most of us don't go out of our way looking for it-- but for some of us, if we find it-- I guess it's "gravy." If you get my drift.

Green Eyes: Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm more into Marcia because of the red hair. As for the bitchiness I defer to Godwhacker, Dantallion, Crazy Dan, and/or fuzzbox.
Bitches are for those of us that bore easily. We need the constant aggro, or we fall asleep.
Not that I'm saying Wifey's a bitch or anything...

And I normally dislike redheads. I don't know why Marcia's so attractive. Marcia Marcia Marcia!
ps. As for the Men switching teams for MC, I've jumped the fence for a coffee and a cigarette!

To further Dickey's point, if Marcia is bitchy, AND Marcia makes gay men want to switch teams, AND bitchy is for those who bore easily, THEN gay men must be easily bored. And when you look at supposed promiscuity stats, I think the numbers may just support that theory.
This blog is educational, as well as entertaining.
keshi: I've never understood the fascination with Jolie and Aniston. They aren't ugly by any stretch of the imagination but at the same time they aren't really spectacularly beautiful. I'd describe either/both of them as being "somewhat above average, yet still unremarkable."
dantallion: And here I thought it was because Marcia's character on Desperate Housewives was so anal retentive when it came to cooking, cleaning, interior design... I see the makings of one of those "The More You Know..." PSAs on NBC.
